We decided to join forces and put our creativitytogether to bring an intuition to life and satisfy a need that had never been identified before. And so our brand was born. Movitra was born from the meeting of three creative minds, three professionals and friends: Filippo, Giuseppe and Diego.

MOVITRA IS AN ENLIGHTENMENT, A DESTINY, A CALLING.

It's like when you're walking down a straight road with no surprises and suddenly a detour puts unknowns, new possibilities and unexpected scenarios in your path.Movitra takes its name from the Latin "Movere", meaning movement, and "Vitra", meaning glass.. So a lens that moves, fluidly, dynamically, like a stream of water that cannot be stopped, like passion and the courage to dare.

Movitra was born in 2016 in an apartment in Milan, on a day that seems like any other. But even before that, it was born on a beach, on a sunny afternoon. A woman bends down to pick up her child and her glasses fall to the ground, with the lenses facing the ground. Irreparably scratched.

For many it's just another situation, for the woman it's a nuisance to be remedied.For the founders of Movitra it's the fuse that triggers a beautiful journey.
