An acetate style with universal appeal, this sunglass innovates a classic pilot shape to express strength, versatility, individuality, and joy.
Ahlem first crossed paths with New York-based stylist, creative director, and fashion editor Jorden Bickham in 2017, when Ahlem was a candidate for a CFDA prize.
Though their interaction was fleeting, it left an impression: Ahlem was struck by Jorden’s luminous calm and sense of purpose. Recalling that radiant energy years later as she prepared to launch the collaboration, Ahlem sensed that Jorden was someone to approach. As usual, intuition paid off. Over far-ranging conversations, the pair discovered a common language—including a shared interest in social and political justice. Both being congenital doers, it wasn’t long before a plan was formed: To pool their talents on a limited-run collaboration and donate the proceeds to an organization fighting systems of oppression and discrimination.
Each numbered piece is handcrafted by the artisans of Oyannax, France, in microbatches of 100 in Brownlight, 100 in Foglight, and 100 in Ashmilk.
