1010
The lens shape used in the 25SS season is sampled from a catalog published in 1935 by a historical American eyewear manufacturer, and are used in this model 1010 as well.
The distinctive part used on the temple is a new part called an extension hinge.
It is a functional mechanism that when this part is removed, the temple length is shortened by 10 mm.
The design process involves first imagining the ideal appearance, and then adding functional significance afterwards.
This modelembodies the ideology that aesthetics should always take precedence in the creation
of products, which is the theme of EYEVAN 7285: “Create what we think is truly beautiful at the moment.
” The sunglasses use the original ” EYEVAN curve lens,” a Japanese-made glass lens that is made by mixing metal particles and other ingredients to create the color, then melting it and molding each lens individually.
